When you create an account and build a digital business card, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Profile information you provide: phone number, company, job title, industry, website, and any other details you choose to add during onboarding or in your account settings.
• Business card content: anything you add to a card — photos, logos, bio, contact details, social links, and branding choices. This information is public once you publish a card, since that is the purpose of the product.
• Payment information: when you pay the account fee, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card number or payment credentials ourselves.
• Usage and scan analytics: when someone scans or opens a published card, we record technical information such as approximate location (country/city), device type, operating system, and browser, so you can see how your card is performing. We do not knowingly identify individual visitors from this data.

• To create and operate your account and digital business cards.
• To generate and serve your dynamic QR codes.
• To send you account-related emails (verification, password reset, publish confirmations, and — if you opt in — product announcements).
• To show you analytics about scans and views of your own cards.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share information only with the service providers necessary to run QR Connect, including hosting, email delivery, and payment processing providers. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (such as dismissed announcements). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We retain your account and card data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual cards at any time from your dashboard, and you may request deletion of your entire account by contacting us — see below.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. You can update most of your information directly from your account settings, or contact us for anything else.

We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted connections and hashed passwords — to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your data.

QR Connect is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
